We believe that contemporary design requires a careful balance between hand and machine. At TADHG this is both a belief and a way of life, where we add value to the end product through the use of premium materials and a combination of craft and manufacture in a way that preserves traditional skills. We design our bespoke one-off pieces with a view to both contemporary expression and timeless design. Our journey from one-off pieces through to large installations is a reflection of our partnership approach with architects and interior designers, marrying good design and attention to detail.

DCU

600 Seater Restaurant 1999

The TADHG studio worked with our firm in developing “refectory style” dining tables and chairs for the 600 seater restaurant at Dublin City University (DCU) and loose bedroom furniture (sofas, tables, desks and chairs) at the 190-bed Louis Fitzgerald Hotel. Their DC chair and refectory table remain timeless designs and after 10 years are still in use at DCU. The studio has always delivered by bringing their technical and design expertise to projects they have worked with us on.

Cliffs of Moher

Restaurant, Interpretive Centre 2004

My firm worked on the design for the Cliffs of Moher Centre in Co. Clare in 2004, now Ireland’s biggest tourist attraction, with over 1 million visitors annually. Our challenge was to find a durable timber chair that would perform on an uneven natural stone floor. To this end we selected the TADHG studio’s DC chair for the combination of its pared-down design simplicity and robustness

Sky Hub UK

The TADHG studio came highly recommended to the IOR Group. We are very pleased with fitted furniture they supplied to our client, SKY UK and the way they worked in developing and detailing the furniture designs. The quality of installation was of the highest order and the level of service exceptional. It has been a great experience working with TADHG and we look forward to working with this firm again.
